Pre-activated MXS — bypasses the sulfotransferase step that limits standard minoxidil. ~14× in-vitro potency. Pick 5% (first-line) or 10% (for 5% non-responders).
The pro-drug minoxidil only works after it's sulfated by scalp sulfotransferase, and that enzyme's activity varies wildly person-to-person — which is the documented mechanism behind most "minoxidil non-responders." Delivering MXS directly bypasses that step.
The catch: MXS has ~40% higher molecular weight than minoxidil base, so transcutaneous penetration is harder, and MXS is naturally unstable in aqueous solution. Sulfogenz™ solves both with a phospholipid-liposomal carrier (vesicles ferry MXS across the stratum corneum intact) and a propylene-glycol-free, alcohol-free base — the same propylene-glycol-free / Hamamelis-style approach Trüeb used in his 2023 cohort of minoxidil non-responders.
Compounded by 503A state-licensed pharmacies; not FDA-approved as a finished drug. Bulk minoxidil sulfate is supplied with a certificate of analysis. The efficacy framing below is drawn from peer-reviewed studies and has not been independently verified by the FDA. Off-label use evaluated by your provider; pregnancy / cardiovascular contraindications screened at intake.
Localized DHT blockade with none of the ethanol-driven scalp dryness or burning. Glycerin-based vehicle for sensitive skin.

Custom blends of finasteride, minoxidil, and tretinoin — tuned by your provider to your scalp photos and history.
Sodium valproate spray activates the Wnt/β-catenin pathway — a different mechanism than DHT blockade — to induce anagen and increase total hair count.
Jo SJ et al. J Dermatol. 2014 — RCT, 24-week phototrichogram. PMID: 24533507.
Compounded PDE4-inhibitor foam. Raises intracellular cAMP at the scalp to calm inflammatory signaling (TNF-α, IL-17, IL-23) that contributes to androgenetic and inflammatory hair loss.
Mechanism-based. Apremilast (oral) is FDA-approved for psoriasis; topical 0.5% is a compounded, off-label formulation evaluated by your provider.
A compounded, physician-reviewed topical designed for lichen planopilaris (LPP) and frontal fibrosing alopecia — scarring alopecias where controlling the inflammatory and metabolic drivers around the follicle matters as much as stopping the androgenic piece. Toggle each active, pick a strength, and we'll build your tube.
LPP Blend active configurator
No actives selected — pick at least one.
LPP Blend is a compounded, physician-reviewed topical — it doesn't ship without a provider confirming LPP / FFA diagnosis (biopsy or dermoscopy) and reviewing current meds for corticosteroid + clobetasol contraindications. Pioglitazone and metformin carry systemic-absorption questions; your provider chooses the lowest effective dose.
Scalp-directed estrogen that prolongs the anagen phase and locally counteracts androgen-driven miniaturization. Minimal systemic absorption at scalp-applied doses when the drug is formulated in a penetration-balanced vehicle.
Compounded topical estrogen. Not a pregnancy-safe therapy. Provider screens for estrogen-sensitive malignancies and reviews dose against sex and indication before prescribing.
Natural 5α-reductase inhibitor — blocks DHT formation at the follicle via a different binding profile than finasteride/dutasteride, with a cleaner systemic side-effect profile when delivered topically. Also modulates estrogen-receptor cross-talk for a dual-mechanism effect on androgenetic alopecia.
Compounded bioidentical progesterone. Not for use during pregnancy without OB clearance. Men on systemic testosterone therapy should discuss with their provider before use.
Androgen-receptor antagonist at the follicle — blocks DHT from docking even if it reaches the scalp. Compounded into a light solution so the active reaches the dermal papilla without systemic anti-mineralocorticoid effects seen with oral spiro.
Compounded topical; not FDA-approved as a finished drug for alopecia. Pregnancy contraindicated (category-C, anti-androgen effect on male fetus). Provider confirms contraception-in-place for women of reproductive potential.
Once-daily tablet that blocks DHT system-wide. The most-prescribed treatment for male pattern baldness.
Low-dose oral minoxidil (typically 2.5–5mg) — clinically effective for patients who can't tolerate topicals.
[redacted]
Powerful antimicrobial wash for folliculitis, scalp acne, and bacterial overgrowth that silently sabotages hair growth.
Dual-antifungal wash — Ciclopirox's broad azole-like coverage plus Terbinafine's fungicidal squalene-epoxidase block. Calms seborrheic dermatitis, tinea capitis, and DHT-associated scalp inflammation in one lather.
Gentle introduction to prescription retinoids. Smooths texture, clears breakouts, and kickstarts collagen.
Highest standard strength. Powerful remodeling of fine lines, photoaging, and stubborn acne for experienced users.
Third-generation retinoid. Selectively targets RAR-β and RAR-γ for sharper results on psoriasis, acne, and photoaging.
Lightweight, fast-absorbing gel for raised scars — hypertrophic and keloid. Dials down pro-fibrotic signaling (TGF-β / CTGF) so over-healing softens and the scar texture evens out.
Medium-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid (100–1,000 kDa) balances surface hydration with slightly deeper penetration — reinforces the barrier, softens fine lines, boosts elasticity.
Five evidence-leaning plant pigments in one capsule, designed to dampen systemic inflammation and naturally improve LDL-cholesterol profile — with downstream benefits for skin photoprotection, hair-follicle oxidative stress, and vascular health. Take all five together or use the customizer to drop / lower the ones you don't want.
Supplement-tier (DSHEA). Not FDA-approved to treat any disease. The LDL-modulation evidence is strongest for lycopene + anthocyanins; astaxanthin + lutein + zeaxanthin lead on the skin / oxidative-stress side. Provider reviews current statins or other lipid drugs at intake — these are complements, not replacements.
Low-dose oral isotretinoin (Accutane) — 5 mg or 10 mg soft gels — for long-term sebum control, persistent adult acne, and maintenance without the severity of standard 40 mg courses. Available to men and women under the FDA REMS program, with a stricter screening protocol for women of childbearing potential explained below.
Isotretinoin is one of the strongest human teratogens ever identified. A single dose during early pregnancy — often before a missed period, before the patient even knows they're pregnant — is enough to cause what's called retinoic-acid embryopathy. In pregnancies exposed during weeks 3–8, roughly one in three babies has a major malformation:
Exposed pregnancies also have much higher rates of spontaneous abortion and stillbirth. These outcomes are not hypothetical — they're documented in every historical cohort, which is exactly why the FDA created iPLEDGE in the first place.
The stricter protocol for women isn't about being paternalistic — it's about making sure nobody starts isotretinoin with a pregnancy that nobody knows about yet, and that the dual-contraception window around therapy is airtight. That's why it takes ~30–45 days from intake to first prescription for women, vs. ~7 days for men. No provider on any platform can shortcut this — the REMS rules are federal.
Requires iPLEDGE program enrollment (FDA REMS), completed at registration regardless of which products you end up on. Severely teratogenic — no dose is safe during pregnancy. Full protocol: iPLEDGE & isotretinoin explainer.
A fast-drying antiperspirant lotion designed to reduce sweat and control odor without a greasy finish. Drug-facts-compliant: one OTC antiperspirant active (Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex GLY 20%) plus a supporting odor-neutralizing and skin-feel ingredient deck.
Inactive: water, witch hazel, silica, tapioca starch, dimethicone, glycerin, propanediol, triethyl citrate, zinc ricinoleate, polysorbate 20, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, bisabolol, eucalyptus oil. OTC antiperspirant drug — use as directed on the Drug Facts panel.
Softer version of the same idea: lower aluminum salt (sesquichlorohydrate 15%), arrowroot instead of tapioca, allantoin for barrier soothing. Still effective; better tolerated on reactive or just-shaved skin.
More body-care items are on the roadmap — body washes, medicated back/chest acne sprays, and urea-based foot cream.
Oral finasteride + topical dutasteride with spicules + Ciclopirox/Terbinafine wash — everything your scalp needs, one shipment.
